Elijah’s Central MA Studio Newborn Session

Studio newborn sessions are quickly becoming my favorite! Parents don’t have to worry about cleaning the house and can just roll up to my studio in Hudson, grab a coffee downstairs at Wild Hare and settle in for a calm, cozy session with the focus exactly where it belongs: on your new baby and the love you share.

Elijah and his mom came to the studio at about four weeks old, which meant he was a little more interested in checking everything out than sleeping. We took our time with lots of nursing breaks, snuggles, and patience, letting him settle at his own pace. And then, just like that, he was out! We managed to capture all of his sleepy portraits in about ten minutes, proving that sometimes the best things are worth the wait.

One of my favorite parts of this session was that it was just mom and baby since dad was out of town. We were able to document the quiet moments between them—the way she held him, looked at him, and soaked in these early newborn days. You can see just how deeply loved this sweet boy is, and those are the images I know she'll treasure for years to come.

Whether you're coming from Central MA or the Boston area, a studio newborn session offers a relaxed environment where we can slow down, follow your baby's lead, and create timeless images without worrying about whether you got the nursery decorated or the floors cleaned.

I loved spending the morning with these two and capturing the beginning of their story together. These early weeks go by so quickly, and it was an honor to preserve this season for them.
