Maternity Session
Typically scheduled between 32-36 weeks of pregnancy so your bump is big enough to show off but you’re not super uncomfortable yet!

I’ll send over a questionnaire and style guide so we can start planning for your session. You’ll have full access to my client closet.
The big day
You’ll stress out about getting ready and then we’ll have fun snuggling your new little one and capturing all their tiny details. I promise, it’ll all be worth it!

Since due dates are wildly unpredictable, I prefer to schedule newborn sessions once your little one arrives. Most clients reach out when they’re heading home from the hospital and we’ll get your session on the books!

I recommend reaching out at the beginning of your third trimester or earlier if you’re due in the fall (i.e. photographers’ busy season)!

You can expect your session to be laidback and efficient! I remember how exhausting those early newborn days are so my goal is to get the shots we need while always following your baby’s lead. I always budget extra time for feedings, diaper changes and a few meltdowns (from baby or siblings). The nice thing about lifestyle newborn sessions is you just get to snuggle and soak in your baby!

I always follow kids’ leads but typically, I include siblings at the very beginning of the session when they’re curious about me and interested in being involved. I make sure to get the whole family shots and sibling pictures before they lose interest. Then we let the sibling(s) do their thing while we focus on baby.

Of course! For maternity sessions, we’ll make sure to choose a dog friendly location and I highly recommend bringing along a friend to wrangle your pup when they’re not in pictures.
For newborn sessions, as long as your pup is comfortable with your new baby, I’d love to capture some sweet pictures of them. I’ll follow your lead and I don’t ever force anything if your pup seems anxious.

Of course! When you receive your gallery, you have the option to purchase additional prints, products, and digital images.

Nope, I’ll take videos while shooting still images. It may add a small amount of time to your session but nothing significant. We can still accomplish both in the time frames listed for each session!

Your proofing gallery will be ready within 7-10 days. This is where you can view your images and select a package. After your selections, I’ll hand edit your images and deliver your final gallery within 2 weeks.

Yes! You can order prints and products through your final gallery. These are fulfilled by professional labs and delivered directly to you.

Absolutely! This is honestly, one of my favorite things and it makes such a big impact on your final images. I’ll send you a Style Guide before your session with tips and examples. I’m also happy to weigh in on any outfit decisions before your session and I have a client closet full of options for your newborn and any siblings. Stay tuned for options for moms and moms to be!
