DiGianfilippo Rexhame Beach Maternity Session

There is just something about a beach maternity session that never gets old. Soft light, salty air, sandy toes... and when you add an adorable pup to the mix? Even better.

This sweet couple made the long drive to meet me at Rexhame Beach on the south shore, and I couldn't have been more grateful. One of my favorite parts of being a Boston maternity photographer is getting to explore new locations with my clients. Since many beaches don't allow dogs during peak season, we decided to try Rexhame Beach so their four-legged family member could be part of this special season before officially becoming a big brother.

I never take it for granted when clients trust me. They pack up, drive for hours, and then I tell them we're starting on the side of a parking lot. It sounds a little questionable, but the light was absolutely gorgeous, and they trusted the process. Those unexpected little spots often end up being some of my favorite images from the session.

Once we made our way to the beach, everything came together so effortlessly. These two were so much fun to photograph—easygoing, full of laughs, and completely up for anything. And this mama-to-be? Absolutely stunning. She was glowing, and every photo reflected just how excited they are to meet their little one.
