Frannie’s Spring Arboretum Maternity Session
There are two kinds of spring in New England: the one we dream about (all sunshine, blooms, and birdsong) and the one we actually get (where you bring a sweater, an umbrella, and sunglasses—just in case). Lucky for us, this May maternity session at the Arnold Arboretum landed squarely in the dreamy category.
I was so glad this family chose the Arnold Arboretum for their session—not only because the gardens are meticulous, but because it has these gorgeous architectural elements that make every corner feel like a magazine spread. Manicured paths, stone structures, and we even lucked out with the lilacs in full bloom!
My beautiful mama-to-be chose a stunning white gown which as you know, I’m a sucker for a white and green color combo (if you need convincing, please reference the first picture below). We wandered through the gardens, stopped for some sweet moments with their pup, and even learned what a stellar dancer this dad-to-be is!
As a Boston maternity photographer, I love sessions like this because they feel timeless yet completely unique to the season. If you’re expecting and considering a maternity session in Central MA or the Boston area, let’s find a stunning backdrop for your session!
