Juno In Home Newborn Session
One of the biggest worries I hear before an in-home newborn session is: “The nursery isn’t done yet… is that a problem?” And the answer is almost always no. Definitely not. Absolutely don’t stress about it.
This session is a perfect example why. We didn’t step foot in the nursery. Instead, we used this family’s recently redone kitchen and living room and honestly, they were stunning. Beautiful light, clean lines, neutral tones, and spaces the family actually lives in every day. It felt relaxed, natural, and very them, which is exactly what I want from an in home lifestyle session.
As a Boston newborn photographer, my goal isn’t to document a perfectly styled room, it’s to capture this season of life. The way you hold your baby on the couch. Feeding at the kitchen island. The places where memories are already happening. Nurseries are lovely, but they’re not required. If yours isn’t finished (or barely started), you’re in very good company.
So if you’ve been putting off booking because you feel like your house isn’t “ready,” consider this your permission slip to let that go. Great light, a little space to breathe, and a home that feels like yours is more than enough.
